Timepieces, tribute to Eric Clapton’s music festival was held on  March 29th, a day before his 71 birthday in Hard Place Club in Zagreb for 8th time.
Performers: La Madame, Bohemi & Branko Požgajec, Tony Lee King, No Limits! and Moonshine.

In front of cheerfull audience performed 2 for Blues, Danny Kožić, Guitar Alexander and Blue Bone Inkret, Moonshine, Prudje Blues band, Mapache Blues band and Zok & Great Spirit.

4th Croatian Blues Challenge last weekend successfully painted Split in Blues colors. In three nights 11 performers in the competition, and 2 special guests, “Keepers of playing” and Ivan Vragolovich/Jura Geci duo performed at the club “O’Hara”. Guitarist and vocalist Teo Aničić from Split won in Solo/duo category, and blues quartet from Pula, Delta Blues Gang in group categories, who were a real discovery of a Challenge. In newly initiated “Best Original Author Lyrics” category, “The Best Lyrics Award Carl Reuter” won Neven Dužević from Zagreb with the lyrics of the “Sad devils” song. Croatian Blues Forces organized the fourth tribute to Clapton’s music festival.
The festival was held in a Hard Place Rock Club on April 1st with performers: Buna, Hara & Vedran, Sunnysiders, Two 4 Blues, M. Rakas & friends, Zoki & Great Spirit, 4 4 Blues, Never 2 Late.

Johnny Winter got Porin

Porin, the most prestigious record award in the Republic of Croatia was served to mr. Johnny Winter.
This award for special achievement in music was delivered to mr. Johnny Winter on March 1st, 2012 by Croatian Blues Forces President mr. Boris Hrepić and Executive secretary mr. Siniša Bizović.
“This Croatian Grammy is just a little drop of gratitude for the big ocean of your great music.” – said Mr. Hrepić.
